We Are Salesian
An urgent appeal to support our own
St. John Bosco (Don Bosco) said, “It is not enough to love the young; They must know they are loved.” That is what we must do through our #WeAreSalesian appeal and we must act quickly to support our families in need. We have members of our Salesian family who are experiencing turbulent times and need our support.
We’re all facing a challenge, unlike anything in our lifetime. With unemployment continuing to grow, many families will be unable to cover the remaining tuition for this school year and the beginning of our next school year. These families need our support to continue receiving the quality Catholic education they desire to provide for their sons. Salesian High School has always offered scholarships for families with financial need. This need will be greater than ever before. Your support of #WeAreSalesian will allow us to help our students during these unprecedented times, reminding them they are not alone.
As Salesians, our work grew out of Don Bosco’s love for children. This is what we are called to do. We must act in the same manner, giving selflessly through the love of God. We are facing a crisis and it is in times like these, we are able to showcase our traditions based on reason, religion, kindness, and to keep the presence of educators among all of our students.
