On June 12, 2021, Salesian hosted Fr. John Serio’s farewell celebration. Father John has been president of Salesian High since 2013 and previously served as director-president from 1992 to 1998. He was also a teacher during the late 1970s. Father John has been instrumental to the growth of Salesian High School, leading the school during some of the most challenging times. Most recently, Father John has ensured the safety of every Salesian student while navigating the school during a global pandemic.
To honor Father John’s legacy, Salesian High School has established the Fr. John Serio Legacy Fund. The proceeds will be going to financial aid towards the Salesian students who work for accomplishing academic excellence. In lieu of gifts please consider donating to our fund.
While we are sad to see the end of Father John’s tenure at Salesian High School, we are excited to support him in his next assignment. His accomplishments at Salesian are a testament to his servant leadership and the entire Salesian family is grateful for his support.
